Never surrender to 'Evil' Never surrender to 'Evil', for evil doesn't recognize 'the white flag'. Evils only aim is to destroy you, either voluntarily, or against your 'will'. Evil seeks to make a mockery out of you, and all you stand for. Even if you could, did, surrender to evil, after your surrender evil would continue to 1. Demean you 2. Humiliate you 3. Mock you in your pain Never surrender to evil for evil has an appetite that can never be satisfied.

This is not really going to be a short wise thought, but rather a longer realization, and that is....
The longer you live, the shorter life becomes
The longer you live, the shorter life becomes, as such you begin to realize a few things.
1. As you age, you stop being embarrassed of stuff you should of never been embarrassed of to begin with.
2. Those who cut you out of their life, in a way wanted you 'dead' long ago, so if your life never mattered to them, why should there life matter to you?, now.
3. The older you get, the shorter life becomes, so what's the harm in saying 'yes', to self, kind of like that movie 'yes man', with Jim Carrey, in that movie his life really didn't change for the better until he started saying 'yes' to opportunities, invites, that in the past he'd shrug off.
I don't know, you begin to realize a lot as you age, that you didn't when in school, and one thing for sure you begin to realize and that is that life, energy, healthy life in particular is not infinite.
Even the healthiest people eventually wear down and pass away.
Sometimes I wonder how many of my former classmates, people I played with as a youth, people I walked passed in the hallways of school, people I played 'tag' with, hide and go seek with, people I passed nurf football to, or tackled during recess, sometimes I wonder how many of them are no longer with us?
And to those still here, I'll forever see them through the lense of k-12, cause that's how I remember them.
And here, some of their essence or impressions they had on me, will live on, even if they've moved on.

I visited a nursing home once, and no one looked happy to be there, the patients that is, Jesus no Jesus, all those who were old, sick and dying looked miserable, there was no happy joy in their face, they all seemed alone and miserable.
I did not observe anyone, while dying, praising Jesus or holding a bible, I saw no Priests or Pastor's walking around to help comfort anyone.
The only thing that made those people happy was 'attention', if you gave any of them 'attention', they were thrilled. They were thrilled to feel as if they mattered to you, a stranger, even if not just for a few seconds or minutes, they were thrilled.
I remember one particular lady who must of had altzeimer's illness, cause I gave here a Orange once, that I picked from a tree, and from that day one, whenever I went to that place, that older lady would always want to hold my hands...it felt odd at first, but then the nurses were like 'go ahead, there's no harm'...
So me and that old lady would just walk up and down the hall a few times, with her holding my hand, as if holding on to life.
(And I remember thinking at the time 'why couldn't women my own age realize how special, nice and caring I really am, why do people only realize that when so near to fading?)
I still often think about that lady and those times and what I learned from it all.

When in love, will conquer the world, just to prove 'you' can, when falling out of love, will give away the world, just cause 'you' can.
In the end, Love is all that really matters, everything else is material.
