If you're from the Pullman area, during my time there, than you probably dance like this....If from Pullman/Moscow/Lewiston-Clarkston/Albion area during my time than you probably dance like this...(D'oh!), while listening to music like the below... OK, I mean like in Pullman area, this was considered hardcore whatever, I still don't know if it's country, pop, or rap...but us tumbleweed type prairie land raised square Pullman types had little choice in music selection back then (poor us). Anyways, if from the Pullman area during my era there, this is definitely how you dance. We were all so 'square' compared to other areas, but that was the beauty of it, now looking back, the innocent square environment of Pullman and that area is why now days so many people seek areas like that out, as they flee from the angry large cities. I wish they'd all stay away from Pullman though, keep your prejudices, and mean spirited big city attitudes with you please...just leave Pullman area alone.

Winters in Pullman
Winters in Pullman, kind of miss those days.
Pullman was so small that when it snowed in Pullman it felt like it was snowing on a large 'stage' or something.
Winter times were great for me, while in Pullman as a youth, it reminds me of certain gals I had crushes on back then, for some reason they just stood out to me more in the winter time.
I guess cause winter time was like 'get cozy' time even though I never got cozy with anyone, I wasn't that lucky.
A few gals that winter time in Pullman remind me of..Shannon L (Albion babe), Dawn Beinsburger (or something like that could never pronounce, let alone spell their last name), they were a grade beneath me but oh so stunning in their own cute tomboyish way.
And of course Kathy B, and the dance we went to that one snowy night, which was the last night of normality for me, probably forever after 2 of my pals pranked called their house and her father blamed it on me and Kathy B believed her bias azz Father instead of allowing me to give my side of story, which I was clueless about until Carlos F and Steve L, finally told me what they did.
To this day I'm still upset about that cause I do believe me and Kathy B were meant to be together.
You just don't meet people, bond with people, you've known since 4th grade very often, and me and Kathy B were right for each other, both of us kind of geeks in our own way, and all of that blown by two male friends of mine who felt like pranking her home on the phone later that night...that prank of theirs forever destroyed my life and or outlook on things and or any chance of any kind of normality.
Now they're older, obviously and I probably would not even recognize them even if walked past them in a grocery store, but me, they would recognize cause I still look basically the same, only a bit more handsome now..and sturdy.
------------------------------------
Oh and the sledding was legendary in Pullman/Albion, legendary, so many great past moments on snowy hills I can think of, the bonding that occurred, the feeling of watching older classmated do things you weren't quite brave enough to do.
Youth in Pullman/Albion was wonderful, if I had known how wonderful it was compared to other places, I'd of tried to have enjoyed it even more.
Heaven to me would be to simply relive my Pullman/Albion years over and over again in a loop from say K-11th grade, but each time allowed to get a bit smarter and more keen and allowed to mature more.
I miss those times and to this day they still carry me through.

I also remember, to this day, the massive snow ball fights we use to have at Sunnyside elementary and even at Jefferson, and how the 'sides' would combat one another during recess.
It was fun as h-ll, back when kids allowed to be kids and to be physical, and get hurt and learn from the battle field of snow..
I miss those days so so much.

I miss 'play' in general, it just seems when people grow up, some, or most become so dam serious and forget the art of 'play'.

Boy how times have changed
It's Friday night now, and I'm plum wore out, but decades ago, when in high school in Pullman, or even middle school, Friday nights were like 'Ye baby!'
In Pullman that usually meant
1. Going to the 'Cub', to play video games, foose ball, pinball.
2. Keg or party
3. Sneak into college party
4. Keg or party at the snake river 'The Dunes'
5. If hung around the rockers or stoners, it meant getting high, on Friday nights
6. Sleep overs, ye, those were fun when your best friend or friends could come home with you on a Friday and spend the night!
And just other silly small town type stuff, oh ye I forgot 'dating', back when dating was still the thing to do, or high school dance ect.
Now, now, I just get off work to wore out to engage in anything.
Boy how times have changed.

I remember back when in Pullman, as a youth, I remember how we all always knew a older cooler kid, and how we all would cluster around them, and how the older cooler kid would get annoyed and say 'scat', through body language ect, cause they were, well, trying to be cool, and didn't want me (or you) with our nerdy friends ruining their cool persona.
Oh what simple times those were. Why did they have to end?

If raised in the Pullman WA, Albion, or Moscow, ID area during the 89's, than this is probably how you rap
Believe it or not, even way back then, the Pullman, WA area had a small but vibrant hip-hop scene. But back then, break dancing was still a major part of hip-hop.

If semi wealthy, and want to maximize your money, than call this dude here wbob.com/show/lighthouse-retirement/ He's like a spirited Michael Savage version of a money adviser I've learned to like them over the years.

I saw the news about what happened in Moscow, ID, and was like 'wow', cause that stuff never use to happen there when I lived there.
I mean Pullman/Moscow are like twin cities.
People move to that area to get away from that type of stuff.
I mean there's like zero crime there, at least when I was there, other than silly stuff high school or college students do, getting drunk type of stuff...maybe fist fights, ect, normal small town type of antics, but nothing more....until now.
Here's more on the story.

What scares me the most is living in a world or society where whites are no longer in control
Look, I'm a person of color, I hail from the Pullman, WA area, grew up there, grew up around whites, ate with them, had sleep overs with them, when younger, boy scouts, cub scouts, the whole shabang.
Were some people there racist?...sure, but people are racist all over the planet.
That aside, I've lived in a white enclave and I've lived in areas where it's predominately black or Hispanic or non-white and ect...and how blacks are treated is like night and day.
What most blacks don't realize, is they're, we're, treated special only cause in the West, and whites still feel bad do to slavery, racism, ect. That's a shared history that other nations, peoples, do not have, whether they're of color or not.
A Pakastani could give a squat about a black persons civil rights, and if not Islamic, would be treated like a dog in their nation. Same with Mexico, and most of South America.
People don't go by skin color in other nations, they go mainly by culture and heritage, but skin color or 'race' can still play a large part in where on fit's in in society.
And just saying, without the Constitution of America, black people here relagated to the lowest wrungs of society.
You have to have traveled around the world, and or just pay attention to other areas, watch the news, ect, to know this to be true.
You're typical urban bred, 'The View' watching black women/man, who thinks live would be better if people of color in charge, well, are headed for quite a surprise when that ever happens.
China is more racist towards blacks than the Klan, or at least equally as racist. Blacks better hope China never takes over America.

If need a decent place to stay in Pullman, try the Quality Inn!
Stayed here for a week, and enjoyed it. The room was very clean, no odors, and the staff were really nice people.

Cruising around downtown Pullman with Mother, lol
Pullman is like one of the safest towns/places, in all of America, it's where I'm from! But sadly, like other safe places, it's now being flooded with people from the big city, ect, who may not be as nice as us original Pullmanites were.
