Miss the DVD player in computer
I'm in a movie watching mood, but without DVD player can only stream or watch on TV, that's like going back a decade or so.
Most people like streaming, and so do I, but nothing beats being able to watch your own paid for cheap, Walmart bin movie from your own computers DVD drive.
I did buy an external DVD drive, but on windows, it won't work unless paid for cheap download, and after reading reviews, I don't think so.
I also like being able to 'freeze frame and screen clip neat scenes.
I know Amazon video won't allow that, the screen just goes dark if you try, not sure about Netflix.
I also notice with Amazon there's a lot less super hero movies.
Yep, I'm in a movie watching mood, I need something to take me away from my own mundane life right now, or day I should say.
(I know, other people in certain parts of the world, or even here, don't need to watch a movie for excitement, well I'm not one of them, at the moment anyways)

Hamburger Hill...wow
This is one of those Vietnam war movies I've just avoided seeing, until now, as in less than an hour ago.
This movie is good, and holds it's own greatly, meaning it doesn't really feel aged at all, and even the actors in it, the men, still seem handsome and actually ahead of their time.
It's a movie that starts off really just dealing with human nature and relations, in the midst of a war.
I'm only about 40% into the movie, but not disappointed at all.
If have never seen this movie and older, I'm here to say it's a good watch, for sure, at least if intelligent.

Lately I've been getting back into the whole 'Aliens' series of movies. Darker sci-fi movies that were produced good, in years past.

Lately I've been getting back into the whole 'Aliens' series of movies. Darker sci-fi movies that were produced good, in years past. Like a Aliens vs zombies movie, I wonder how that would do? Zombies would be to stupid to be afraid of the aliens. Now watch some Hollywood type steal this idea, first invented right here.

Very odd addictive movie, not sure how to classify it, and of all places takes place in the State of Washington
(If movie can't be shown on here the title of it is 'Star Leaf', and can watch on Youtube)
not even sure how to classify it, fantasy? Horror? comedy? I just don't know and haven't finished watching it all yet.

Getting harder and harder to find any decent movies to watch.
About or was about to sign up for Netflix again until some signing in issues that turned me off.
But Netflix does have better movies than does Amazon.
Amazon movies, the free ones, are basically old Walmart ben movies, 2nd and 3rd tier movies that you find at flea markets.

I miss movies you could just start watching, and feel confident that you're not going to have to stop watching it 3 minutes in do to such poor acting and directing.

I really miss the days when computer had DVD player, and I had tons of DVD movies to chose from, and could flop in some cool movie I've always wanted to see and watch it commercial free...those days are so gone.
And streaming sites? Netflix use to be the one stop for all your movies, not anymore, now all the good movies are so scattered on different streaming sites that you'd have to subscribe to them all to be able to have a decent selection of movies.
It's so very hard for me to find anything worth watching anymore.

The thing about Disney + is that once you blow past all the Star Wars stuff, the X men stuff, Marvel comic stuff, it's hollow...just like HULU is also very hallow. I think Netflix, in it's prime years, was the best, you could get everything there all under one roof...but now even Netflix is hollow.

Last Rampage
Last Rampage, this movie is actually pretty good. It has that real life, 70's outlaw gritty feel to it, and maybe cause it's actually based on a true story.
I'm about 65% into the movie. It takes so long to actually find a good movie anymore, that when I do, I like to break it up into 2 to 4 viewing sessions. But ye, this one is pretty good, almost like a real life 'The devils rejects' type of flick.

Just watched some movie on Hulu about a space crew that heads towards a moon of Jupiter? Whatever, I just know now when I go back, I can't find it in the line up. I want to review it and say it failed, dragged on to long, and had to many useless scenes about characters you had no reason to care about.

In fact, most movies just drag on to long and create useless dialogue scenes that add nothing to the movie, like romance crap. I mean why does just about every movie have to involve a man and woman falling for one another? Whether its' horror, comedy, drama, action, why the F does 98% of movies have to involve some male/female dynamic?
Some of us just don't give a ___ about that crap.

My choice for entertainment tonight shall be
1. Amazon movies
2. Disney + movies (if can sign back in or feel like it)
3. Hulu (Same deal)
4. Regular old fashion TV
Youtube has awesome movies as well, but unless subscribe you have to put up with those terrible demonic loud interrupting ads.
And well, the random roll of the dice says it shall be Hulu, assuming I can sign back into account.
