Days of Future past is my favorite in the series so far
Days of future past is my favorite in the X men series, will write more about it later when circumstances allow.

X-Men Apocalypse is a tad bit unrealistic, OK, a lot In this movie, men, mortal men, mainly Magnito, but others as well, are presented as having 'god' like powers. I mean if Jesus was indeed god, Jesus sure didn't perform anything to the magnitute magnito did.  I mean in the movie Magnito basically moves millions of mega tons of earth at ones, cranes, shipping containers and more, with only his 'will' and his mind. That kind of power could never be contained in the flesh, it's just not possible, but then again that's why it's the movies and fantasy and fiction. Or guys who shoot fire out of their eyes, or who's bone structure made of metal that can expand or contract at will? Oh well, it's a movie.

I also hate the way these movies build the villain up to get right on the edge of the villains grand plan, just to have it spoiled at the last minute by the 'good guys'.
But are the good guys really good?
I mean to me, any force that wants to control you isn't so good, but rather a matter of 'taste'.
I mean is the current world good and full of good leaders?
I suppose if live in the West, or are rich, or a ruler, you may think so, but for the vast majority of people, is the world in it's current configuration really good for them, or us?
Sometimes I find myself rooting for the supposed dark villain to win, I mean how would things be any worse?

We already worship a deity under this current system, called greed and money, not sure how some beast creature could make that worse? or worse than what human rulers have made it for many now and in the past. |
