And now folks, let's cover, real quick, why the GOP got totally smashed last week during the primaries.

this is why they lost folks, do to older W crusty males all hogging the mic....these older baby boomer, Archie Bunker types just refuse to let go of their mics and allow for a more younger, relatable, cross cultural, type, or types to emerge.
but rather instead cling to their mics, thus their relevancy with a type of death grip.
News flash, younger people don't want to be like their grandpas or grandmas until at least usually in their 4os, being that by that time they're usually wiser and smarter.
But until then it's about culture, and right now, as of now, Republicans totally losing out on the cultural war, they just don't get it.
YOung people don't want to age before their time, yet all you hear on conservative talk radio are these older, Archie Bunker, post sexual males ranting and raving about 'get off my lawn' type of stuff...sorry, but that's a losing recipy!!

For a show like this, which rely's on creative energy, shows don't always come easy, the hardest parts are the openings, is why many radio hosts use the same opening over and over again, cause it's easier that way.
But the genx radio show is more of a variety show that uses skits and theatrics to get points across, and 2nd and 3rd party characters to take the sharpness out of certain points.
but when the mind is flat, it's flat, and you can't force a segment or show.

People not into radio or show biz have no idea how long production, post production is.
Now imagine doing it alone, while working another job.
Again, most could give a crap, they just turn on the radio/TV ect, if they like the show they listen, if not they move on.
Got in late, had to wrap up show, felt like adding some commentary on illegal immigration to it, but that added commentary and editing ate up all the night, now gotta go to bed soon and wake up to a job I really no longer like.
I like the schedule, but not so much the job itself, cause I've done it for so long.

The Gen X radio is back on now, the show now airs on 1500 KKNW am(Seattle area) from 9-9:30 am Yes, Gen X radio is now back on, but this time in a larger market, the Puget Sound area of WA State. Next show is tomorrow, so tune in.
