Film school/course vs just using that money to fund your own movie
Is film school or screenplay school worth it?
Depends.
But also, the days of just writing a screenplay and expecting some studio to buy it, hand you 50 gran, and all is good, well, those days are pretty much done.
I've pretty much concluded this course, and have mixed feelings.
If could do it again, I would not, there's a lot cheaper alternatives.
I would not do it again, and would instead invest my money in more tangible items...land, etc, things that will be there for you regardless of what kind of day you have.
