the news headlines are getting more and more grim, what's going on with society, and or the people in it.
I use to have a illusion that people were just generally good, now I must really question that based on what I see plastered in the news every day.

Nothing worse, when living in the South East, than turning on the lights, to go to the kitchen, and saying a ugly azz roach in the hallway...
In the Pullman area, it was large spiders you feared seeing, but in the SE, it's large roaches that freak you out.
And they can do as much damage as spiders in that at night they can crawl on your appliances, and food, and live toxic bacteria filled goo behind.
People say god created everything and then said that it was 'good', all good, I don't know, I question that as I age, not sure what's good about roaches.

I suppose I should go ahead and let go of today, by going to bed.
But once I go to bed, then that means tomorrow is ever closer, and tomorrow simply brings me closer to the next day where I'll have to work again.

You'll never really know how other people view you, your culture, ect, until you leave it, immerse yourself in another, then come backMany blacks have never not lived around other blacks, as such only see themselves through the lens of, well, other blacks, and is why certain behavior seems OK, cause there's nothing else to measure that behavior by. Whereas with me, I was raised around white folks, Indians, and other, from basically K-12, the years your mind develops, as such when left the Pullman area, I was basically a white bred person, who appeared and was physically of African and a bit of native America (Seminole Indian) trying to fit in with regular deep south black folks who were as different from me in looks and culture as I was from them. Not that that's good or bad, it's was just my reality....and still is.

Just captured a small mouse, it's lucky I'm not mean or terrible, or I'd of killed it, but instead it's in a jar.
I'll release it far away from here tomorrow, near where I work.
And I'll be calling maintance about it also.
I just don't want dead rodents behind the walls....but I think I'll call them.
For years I didn't have rodents, until certain people started moving in around me.

social media is pretty much all but useless today, regardless of which site your're on.
It as fun, even useful at first, but now greed, and evil had caught up with it.

I've got security cam outside my place, and can see people walking by in the back. You just never know what they're up to, some are walking their pets, but still, the paranoid side of your mind wonders if the pet is just a 'cover'. Either way, their movements are filmed.  |

No furniture for me
I got rid of my old furniture over a year ago, and haven't even bothered to replace it, why? Cause this place doesn't feel like home to me anymore.
Rather it feels like an apartment where I could have to leave anytime do to high rent.
Long gone are the days, when I was younger, and when living in an apartment felt like home, or felt cozy, not anymore, now apartments are simply revolving doors, where people are here one minute, gone the next.
Actually, it feels more like a rented warehouse to me, or storage, where I'm the storage.
But ye, why bother getting furniture anymore, cause for me, that just makes moving more complicated and painful.
So I guess I've become what they call a minimalist as of late or the last few years.
I've seen people move, and all they do is end up throwing everything away anyways, or apartment maintenance comes in after them and tosses all their stuff into the dumpster that they left behind.
Ye, as you get older, you realize if not living in your own paid for house, than no where you live is really your home or yours.
