Harvard classes for free, what I'm learning
I'm taking like free online classes, or 1 class from Harvard, many people don't realize that many Ivy league schools offer free courses online, or pay a little, and get a certificate of completion.
Nothing big, won't land you a job no where or even Prestige, it's just something many people have their own reasons for doing.
Me, I just need the challenge, to stretch my realm of thought (as if it's not stretched enough).
I'm learning more about myself though, than any material in the class, which is about religion and strife.
Been learning about the whole Israeli/Palestine conflict, the Irish vs Britain conflict and more.
But at this stage of my life it all just kind of makes me yawn, and is kind of meaningless noise.
And the lessons just confirm what I already learned on my own and that is 'Nothing is new under the sun' , not when it comes to human behavior anyways.
Different names, different labels, same underlying human nature, which is 'my way or the highway'.
And when conflict with another persons ways, than you're demonized on individual level, or national level, or regional level, it's all the same.
The class is actually boring me, I thought I was going to meet people, but you don't, all you do is comment on other peoples comments.
I'm also learning people in the University system aren't any different than anyone else, rather they're apart of a system that self promotes, and funds dreams, ambitions, and articles and Labs and more.
Out here in non University world, you could be the brightest person in the world, and you'll get zero recognition for it, zero, unless connected to a Major University or some other 'club' or accredited place.
People are just people to me, regardless of their religious or cultural past.
I guess I'm just to old to care about all that stuff, and I work, my concerns are local, my concerns are 'me'.
'God' or 'Fate' had it's chance to propel me into the lime light, but 'God' or 'Fate' chose not to, so I am where I'm at in life and have to deal with it.
Anyhow, I'm behind on the course, cause I work, and do other things, so falling behind, so let me read this current lesson and get on with the evening.
