Habitual
This movie has or had potential, but to me it moves along to slowly, and introduces way to many side characters who add nothing to the story line, and instead slow it down.
It's one of those movies that doesn't really get interesting until about halfway through.

31- A Rob Zombie film
I watched part of this last night, was a bit disapointed, it was gore and crazy characters just 'because'. Yes, Zombie is good at 'effects', he's good a scene art and ambiance, but as a story teller or writer, ahh, he doesn't always hit the mark.
Hey, but at least the man is having fun doing what he loves, that's more than I can say for myself.
This movie came out in 2016.

Books of blood
Gonna give this a try, it's like a 'Tales from the Crypt' type of format, mini scary or horror movies strung together. Watching it on Hulu, why not...I'll give it a view.

Digging to death
This scary movie is begging to grow on me for some reason.
It's funny, yet scary at times, like the movie 'Drag me to Hell'.

Chernobal (or however spelled), this move is worth a watch if can find whole episode This was a good movie. I just know I need something scary to watch tonight, with a good realistic storyline, to get my mind off of my own horrors I face in real life.

Terminator Genisys 2015
This falls more into sci-fi thriller, but that being said, how did I miss this one when it came out?
it's kind of f reboot of the original terminator with a lot of odd twists to it. Still watching, so final verdict not out yet, but the visuals are gratifying.

Terminator Genisys
Decent movie, some weird reconfiguration of the terminator. The effects run the movie more than the characters though.
That aside, not sure anymore if suppose to root for 'man' to win or for the machines to win. I mean just look at the world today, and or in the past.
China, Russia, Iran, Pakistan, the Taliban, ISIS, drug cartels, gangs in America, corruption inside the U.S. Government and more.
Am I really still suppose to root for man to win?
Not sure anymore.

Radius - 2017
This movie drags on way to long. A good movie, any movie, can be told in 40 minutes or less and still make the same amount of money at the box office, maybe even more.

Sin Eater
Ahh, not sure how to rate this odd movie. It's as if they had to keep re-writing the script as movie progressed.
I don't know, it was supposed to be scary, but never really was, maybe not till the very end.
Feels more like a soap opera, a scary soap opera, I don't know, the movie didn't scare me till maybe the very end, and I mean the very end, but even then not so much as a scare as 'a What the heck'?
In that was fast forwarding the movie a lot and skipped over some key moments, so the ending didn't make sense to me until went back and watched a few scenes.
Basically ust an average scary movie, that had potential to be more, if maybe written better or had more convincing actors. But these days, you don't get big star actors anymore, seems now days most actors in this independent studios are like one and done. You see them once, and never ever again, like what I call film school type of actors.

Exeter
Hmm, what can I say? This movie here has a very modern 80's or 90's college slasher feel to it, then add in some possessions and a old asylum building.
Still watching so final verdict not out yet....also add in some 'Rec' (the possessed zombie movie)
May find self fast forwarding through the first 15 minutes though, as seeing spoiled, elite college students party and act wild, no longer interesting to me.

Don't blink
One of the better horror/scary/suspenseful movies I've seen in a while.
They took the time to endear you to the characters before the action begins, and the actors do a good job with convincing you they're as shocked and surprised by what's happening as you'd be if there.
Acting/casting is the key. Cause this movie could of gone either way, really good or really bad, but to me, the actors are who carried it. It's on Amazon right now, or 'Freevee', with commercials.

Steelmanville Rd (The prequel to 'bad ben'
Ahh, I haven't watched this one yet, and well, ahh...not sure what to make of it. I did get caught up in the 'bad ben' series of movies for a while, or at least the first 3 editions, but after that they got a bit goofy.
I can't rate this movie since haven't seen it, but just posting it incase someone wants to know it exists, and then maybe 'you' can watch it and make your own review elsewhere or even here, if brave enough to...lol.

Alien - 1979
This movie, after all these years, still holds up so well, and is far superior to most of the junk put out today. If want a good old fashion, thought provoking scare, than check out 'Alien', the movie. This movie set the standard for many that followed, but sadly that standard has shrank, do to fast food movie production as of late.

Paranormal Activity, the ghost dimension
1. The women in this movie definitely weren't cast for their acting abilities, but rather for their looks, and I guess you could say the same for the male actors. 2. In this movie, it seems the humans are the props, and the ghost or demon, or demons, are the ones that carry the movie, with all of the repetitive 'jump scenes'. 3. In my opinion, way too much emphasis on the little girl, those scenes to became quite repetitive and pointless.
Still not done watching, but the pattern has been established. a. Average to less below average actors b. Use 'jump scare scenes' to keep the suspense going, and to annoyingly wake you up if you happen to be trying to doze off or fall asleep during the move.
What could have made it better? If the characters didn't act so stiff and plastic, and had had more real-life human reactions, rather than movie scripted ones. Most people, if experience what they did in this movie, scene after scene, wouldn't just blow it off, and an hour later act as if all is fine. It's as if they kept forgetting they were living in a haunted house.
