New and older horror movie trailers and previews New and older horror movie trailers and previews Since there's no longer only 3 big channels on TV, many horror movie releases are completely missed. I use to love me some horror movies, but can't tell you the last time I actually saw a horror movie release on anywhere on TV. So thought I'd create a section where horror movies from current to the past, or at least the trailers of, can be seen. Let's do this.

Red Dragon (2002)
This movie may as well be new to me seeing as I totally missed it's release 18 years ago.

Collection of top 10 horror movies, based on someone's personal taste
I do remember 'Mamma' which is number 10 on this list, that indeed was a creepy movie and well written.
Not sure about the rest that rank above it on list.

He's out there (you could not force me to watch even 5 minutes of this movie)
Horror, to me, would be if strapped down to chair and forced to watch this movie.

Elysium, hmm, maybe this movie worth a watch?
Maybe worth a watch?
So many of these movies seem to mirror what's going on now, but to slightly lesser technological grip...just a matter of time I suppose.

Exists - 2014?
I'm watching this now actually, stretching it out over a few days, but sharing it here and elsewhere cause it's the only movie ever made about 'big foot' that gives me pause, that actually shows big foot in a scarier light than most movies do.
This movie plays out more like a Friday the 13th flick, and is basically about a 'big foot' with a ugly attitude.
It's worth a watch, although there are a few 'dorky scenes' in beginning, as most movies that involve college aged students on vacation seem to have, before the monster or villain gets warmed up. You can watch whole movie on YT, and it does learn towards 'scary' and or 'horror'.

Bad Ben
I liked it, some did not.
The main character in movie though for sure isn't that attractive at all, but the theme, the premise, is for sure a bit creepy.
If can watch on Amazon, do.
It's one of those movies that you have to let your own imagination 'scare you'.

The guy at the end of this movie is so clueless, is why I find myself watching the ending of it over and over again
I mean the fact that he's a paranormal dunce, actually, for some reason, comforts me a bit.
Cause when you're stupid, you don't know that you should be scared.

Slither
One of my all time favorites for sure.
It's like space alien/monster/survival of species/love story and romance, all in one, and it's cleverly done.
It's an older movie, but I still think it up holds with time, it's currently airing on Amazon video, it's worth a watch if looking for something different.

We still say grace
Probably not since the movie 'Carry' has there been such a odd religious horror movie than this one, not a realistic one anyways.
I just happen to catch this one tonight on Amazon movies, and wow, wow.
It kept my attention for sure cause it's so realistic in that I'm sure what occurred in this movie has probably really happened before and still does.
The power religion can have over people is out right scary.

Thinner - Stephen King, 1996?
Watching this now on Amazon, I don't think I've ever seen it before.
Stephen King is like a hit and miss horror movie guy to me, some of his stuff hits, and hits big, and other of his stuff seem more like made for TV type of productions.
Not sure what this one is like, I'll find out soon.

Paranormal Activity, the marked ones
The older I get the harder it is for me to get scared, or for a movie to scare me, I should say.
Well this one is good, and does have a few scary moments in it.
Scary in that they're realistic scenes.
The older I get, the more realistic the scare has to be in order to have an effect, and this movie scores high in that mark.
And for once, it's a horror movie that doesn't evolve or revolve around the sexualization of white women.
