The two generations that make society or communities really 'cold'
From what I notice, the two generations that are making the community where I stay 'distant' and cold or the 60 + generation and the 30 and below generation.
Why?
Cause the older 60 + generation use to segregation, but now many are forced to move back into areas populated by minorities do to economic hard times, in age, they can no longer afford expensive homes out in the burbs.
And the under 30 generation, well they come from the whole smart phone era, and aren't use to communicating with anyone in person, and many of the Mothers and Male Fathers come from single parent homes, never married, ect, and so don't have the culture of 'family', as in no reunions anymore, Uncles, Aunts, ect.
And when these two generations clash or forced to live together, neighborhoods become ice cold, from what I observe.
Now the generation that's the most friendly to me, or like the ones who grew up in the 70's through the 90's, when nuclear family's still the norm and encouraged as reflected in many shows from that time period such as 'The Brady Bunch', Partridge Family, Cosbey Show, Family matters, and so forth, those family shows of the 80's and 90's, when getting married was still sought after and having large family still seen as 'OK', and where people still spoke with one another and worked things out verbally, right before the rise of social media.
I notice regardless of color or ethnicity, this age generation of people made neighborhoods the brightest and most fun to live in, the types that would bring you stuff during the holidays and all.
I just notice now, that I'm seeing the 30 under crowd move in and mixed in with some older types 60 and over, the 'fun' has just all but gone away.
The older ones don't want to be here and don't trust the minorities they live around, and the younger ones just don't have it in them to be outgoing and friendly and always have faces in phone.
Solution?
Don't think there is none, can only observe and note.

I notice Craigslist no longer has 'free section', where could look at free pets for give away...I think maybe why is that with so many people coming to U.S. from over seas nations, some probably would eat the cats and dogs as food, that were being given away for free..

Ye, with so many flooding over from wherever, don't be surprised if peoples dogs and cats end up disappearing, I mean people gotta eat. |

What do I observe since growing up in Pullman, about society?
Well, I could write a whole book on that, so let me just point a few things out in one short post.
1. Social media seems to have made people more mean.
That's probably not true though, cause people have always been mean to each other, just look at history.
But it does seem like many, or we, as a society were making great gains, until right around the time social media came about, that would be what, around 2005 or so?
I mean when it took off big.
Seems social media then and now, allowed or allows people to be mean anonymously, and say things most wouldn't to your face, and so social media has kind of taken away civility.
I remember early sites like 'Topix', and how losely the 'n' word was used, not by blacks, but by racist whites, with the intent to insult, it's like it was just in their social DNA to behave like that.
It use to be like that on all the sites actually, just mean cruel stuff.
Then what happened is the tech people begin to crack down, and the pendalum began swinging the other way to where the hippie left and tech types, and Hollywood, and foriegn students, ect, began to turn the hate around and aim it at, well, 'whites', or at least rural hilly billie type whites (whom the left stereotypes).
Rural people are collectively the least racist types, it's the elite whites, the Ivy league class, are the real racist, or at least the real racist with the actual fiscal power to effect policies.
Regardless, social media has made people more mean, or at least has magnyfied the hate beyond some small town or certain area of a city.
Not to mention social media has made dating more difficult, people are less inclined to get to know someone from scratch now, and instead want to study their potential date online, and record search and all.
Anyways, said would keep this short, so I will.
A lot has changed since I left Pullman, much. But there's still decent people around, they're out there, not the loudest, but they're out there.

I don't get mass shooters.
Another one occurred in Texas yesterday, another school shooting by an 18 year old.
I just don't get mass shooters who take their rage out on strangers.
I can some what understand taking your rage out on people who have slighted you in the past, but on strangers??
I don't get that, and if going to shoot up strangers, why not 'bad people', as in street criminals.
Or maybe mass shooters like choosing 'soft targets', cause they know there'll be little to no resistance.
But still, I don't get that mindset, especially when so young.
When I was 18, doing something like that was the last thing on my mind.

And these mass shooters, they're all different, one week it's a W person, the next week a B person, this time it's a Hispanic person, and next week it'll probably be a gay person.
And every time it's a 'this or that person', people exploit it.
There is no rhyme or reason to it...just madness, that's all, madness.

And as the population swells, it's only going to get worse, with millions of undocumented people flooding over, it's only going to get worse, as many will turn to crime to survive.
This Biden admin is destroying this nation.
although in fairness, mass shooters have been occurring long before he was in office, but still, just look at the headlines, crimes going up everywhere.

Every time I open new tab on computer, and the browser news feed displays, it's always the same thing, all you see is 20ish something urban B males charged with this crime, wanted for that crime, on video seen committing this crime and on and on.
These mothers who raise these monsters should be held to account, period.
If I were ruler, I'd lock the parents right up with their offspring, until off spring above the age of 30...
If that were law, crime would nearly stop overnight.

I think, observe, only famous people can be total dushebags in their life, do crazy stuff when young, and then be forgiven by society when older like Mike Tyson or Ozzy Ozzborne or you just name any famous person.
But if you're not famous, forget about it, you make one moral error and you're condemned for life.

With all the senseless violent crime occurring, sometimes I think there needs to be more _______s in some communities, not less, seeing as so many from those communities grow up to be such terrible societal monsters.

There's nothing special about living next to B folks, heavy handed with everything, no grace at all, at least has been my experience and observation.

Even though I'm a person of color, segregation does make sense to me, in a way, maybe not based soley on color, but should be based on other attributes, like mannerism.
Also, not all 'black people' are the same, don't look the same, don't have the same mindset, are different shades, mixed, and so forth.
I mean even within the so called 'black community' I think there should be segregation based on personal attributes.
Why should clean dignified people be forced to live around slobs?

Gang banging is such a waste of a mans life, I mean think of all the men, in Los Angeles, from the 80's and 90's, who either died premature deaths, or are rotting in prison now due to gang banging when younger.
And if let out of prison when older, totally useless to self and society, end up homeless.
And think of all the women they abandoned by getting locked up in prison, is why Mexicans and other immigrants moved in and pushed the single women out cause all the men where locked up.
But lessons aren't learned cause crime worse than ever, and now people are just violent whether in a gang or not.
The American Indians cleared off of their land so that America could eventually evolve into a cesspool? That was so called gods plan?
