Australian Shepard the Stephens owned
While searching pet add on local C/L, saw add for Australian Shepard, and instantly remember the A/S that the Stephens of Albion, WA owned.
I do believe and remember it had two different colored eyes.
What a dog, and now that dog, their pet from years ago, now apart of this memory zone...I forget it's name though.
Ricky was like my best Albion friend for years, like a little brother to me, I'd be like their Wally, they were my Beaver, so many 'spend the nights' spent together...not sure if people or youth still have sleep over anymore, but back in the day sleep overs were so very cool and popular.
I mean you'd like ask your Mother or Father...'Hey, can Ricky or Mike or ect spend the night?'...
Or 'Hey can I spend the night at Kevin's house?'..and when parent said yes, it felt so magical!
The Stephens were such a special family to me, Mrs Stephens and that delicious raseberry Jam, or her baked cookies... Imagine a female version of David Bowie, and that was kind of how Mrs Stephens looked, Rickie's mother.
His dad was a WSU campus cop, police officer.
And Jennifer, wow, so very sexy, I can say that now after all these years.
He, Ricky, like had the perfect sister, at least in my opinion.
Anyways..shout out to their former pet Australian Shepard dog, cause it's now enshrined in this blog forums memory lane.

The older you get, the more you begin to realize the memories in your mind, in your head, are just that, memories.
So all you, I, others can really do is cherish memories as we age, and no one can take that away from us regardless of what 'today' or tomorrow brings.

I still sometimes, wake up all these years later, and thinking I'm still sleeping in our upstairs bedroom in Albion, that house on Main street. Weird how the brain works that way, and it'll take me a few seconds of laying there, once awake, to realize I'm not in my old bedroom.

Back in October of 2023, was cruising through Albion, WA at night, after catching long flight into Spokane
Oh how times have changed, but Albion, WA, still kind of the same ole small town it was when I left.
