It's amazing how just one long shift at work can totally strip you of the joy you had in you just 24 hours earlier. Be it, drinking was involved, but still, comparing the festive mood I was in yesterday at this time, and how I feel now, after getting off work, is like night and day.

Another long work day, where you, I, we, the worker, expend our energy for peanuts, ye that's right, peanuts. And people who want to raise the retirement age obviously don't work in the blue collar world.
Usually people who want to raise the retirement age work in a office, and are salaried, or politicians with millions of dollars in tax payer funded pensions. Or work for the city, ect.
Let's face it, unless one works for a gov entity, the future is bleak for most of us, in as far as being able to ever retire.

I think for to much of my life I just depended on good luck and fortune, as if things would just magically work out or something, like what you see on TV. Well, so far I've been wrong, and life has been nothing but grind grind and more grind.

I may have to move soon, not sure yet. Moving, when older, can be a very destabalizing experience.
Moving when younger, is fun, moving when older, is stressful, especially when have to do so alone.
I don't think very many people actually know what it's like to be totally alone in this world.

Alone is not having any one to put into the 'Emergency contact' section on a job application. Or you have to just make some name up or put in a casual acquaintances name you barely even know.

A day when I need some cheer, instead will be a long dull day of driving at work, alone, that's the last thing i need today, is a long mindless shift.

I come home after work and feel so disheveled, especially if know I have to work the next day. I want that to change. I need to start grabbing all time, when free, cause the older I get the more rare time is becoming. Is why I'm getting more into health, cause health is energy, and when healthy, and have energy, you're just more productive, whether it's a worknight or not.

Why would I want to work, on my scheduled day off? Why would I want to come in, and work a job, long shift, that when I'm finally off, I literally feel dead on the inside?
I consider not working, to almost be like pay to me, pay to my soul and spirit, and mind, to be free from such a cold wrecked work environment.
Corporations, particularly ones where their labor pool is primarily labor, as in driving, ect, don't realize if the work place isn't fun, rewarding, than for many, it's the same thing as showing up to work at some Siberian labor camp.

The investor class means squat to me, why should I labor and ruin my health so that their stock prices increase? The investor class means nothing to me, just as I mean nothing to them.

Off for 4 days and glad.
I thought being off for 4 days in a row would make me eager to return to work, not anymore, now it's like the longer i'm off, the less I want to go back. I just don't enjoy my current job anymore, for a variety of reasons.
If I can find another job, with same type of schedule, I might leave....or even may settle for a 4 day work week again...but never 5, if I can help it.

Time to get up and out and go work a job that sure, pays the bills, but certainly doesn't allow me to fiscally prosper.
Seems every day hero's, in America, get spat on, if we, don't look like what others think a hero should look like.

I avoid stress like the plague, or try to, even on jobs I hold.
I don't believe in artificial safety perimeters. I believe if a person is doing their job, than leave them alone, let them work, and don't add on layers of unnecessary stress with stringent criteria.
No job, as of yet, pays me enough to stress out all the while, while on the clock. Stress is bad, especially as you age.

What a day, a long meaningless work day.
Sorry, but you don't get rich by working hard, you get rich by
1. Investing
2. Starting your own business (And then working hard)
3. When someone just pays you a large salary or sum of money, as in NFL/NBA sports contracts
4. You inherit money, or win the lottery
But, just working hard all your life for hourly pay, no, sorry, that alone will not ever make you rich or wealthy.
Oh, and I forgot, Real Estate, can help make you wealthy also, but none of it involves just mindlessly working hard at some medium salaried job.

I wonder if it's time for me to think about getting a second job? I hate the idea of working another job when off from my main job, I believe in getting plenty of rest and not stressing your mind or body out, but also, the price of stuff just keeps going up, and seems I'm slowly falling behind, or falling behind in slow motion.
I don't know, I hate that in this life everything evolves around money, what a evil concept.
