Mental Health
Mental health is another part of being fit, for as the mind goes follows the body.
I once did a podcast episode about celebrity suicides and was stunned at the sheer number of celebrities took their lives, and this was a few years ago, some would be famous one year, then the next year they'd fall into depression, then take their own life, and no one had a clue they were struggling with inner demons.
Maybe it's because when you rise to fame, that's a hard level or self standard to maintain.
I mean it's hard enough for some to loose followers on social media, let alone to be booked for shows, TV appearances, have a hit record one year, and then the next your broke do to contract dispute or others, that would be a hard fall.
Celebrities are often very frail on the inside, and it must be even tougher today cause technology has really saturated the pool of talent.
I mean I can't even name one single stand out movie star of today.
In the past, or just say, in the 90's, early 2000's, you still had stand out celebrities that appeared in blockbuster movies over and over again, now you really don't have that anymore.
Athletes are probably the closest we come to that now, cause you hear their names daily or sports channels, and multiple times a week do to their teams playing, but to be some actor/actress now, you're practically invisible.
Heck, I don't even know what movies are released anymore, movie releases use to be on TV, but now can't tell you the last time I saw a movie preview on any channel I have access to.
Now you have to go to special websites that specialize in movies to stay up to speed.
No more is all information funneled through a few main channels, now there's 1000 channels, and streaming and radio and more, and things don't over lap anymore, these large corporations are very territorial.
Big tech seemed like a blessing at first, but now I think it's becoming a curse, it's helping to make some peoples careers thrive, but has destroyed the career path for many, has made interacting with others seem like a thing of the past.
Companies, customer service, don't even answer phones anymore, they just tell you to press a series of questions.
And you can't even keep your phone on cause of all the 'telebot' calls you get now.
And young people, at least where I stay, just seem to be vanishing, meaning at least 'W' Americans aren't raising large families anymore.
I see plenty of younger minority or 'b' youth who are lost and commit crimes do to lack of parenting stability at home, but it seems white youth are vanishing from the landscape, at least where I stay.
Not sure what people value anymore, politics have become toxic.
And corona has just complicated things even more.
I wish there was a virus, that if you caught it, it would just make everyone who had it 'stoned', then maybe people could learn how to be happy again, smile again, be silly again, enjoy life again, on a mass scale.
A virus that made people 'high', why couldn't of China had released something like that instead.

Skin seems to be a weather vain or vein?, to ones over all health and fitness
Not sure what some people are eating, but my gosh, they seem to be aging by leaps and bounds, skin or face looks puffy and or extra dry and chappy.
Your skin reveals a lot about what you're either doing right or wrong when it comes to diet and health.

Years and years and years ago, I remember our Father making us take 'black Charcoal' Years and years and years ago, I remember our Father buy these black charcoal pills, literally they were like charcoal, the stuff you grill steak with, but in pill form or something. He made us kids take them, our teeth were black, we all got a good laugh out of it... Now lo and behold all these years later..... Yep, all these years later, now charcoal is the crave, at least for those into health. It's amazing how far ahead our parents were, yours and mine, back in the day before society only trained to listen to experts, back in the day it's our parents who were the experts who learned from their parents and so forth. Amazing.

Not sure how beneficial taking certain supplements are at a certain age, like 'enzymes' or certain proteins and all, I say that cause maybe after a certain point body doesn't need certain stuff anymore, and if take it, could find self with odd muscle aches or toothaches or headaches as maybe body doesn't know what to do with extra supplement. Or could activate 'growth' in areas that aren't suppose to grow anymore....so I'd be careful about taking certain supplements.

Ye, I know it's Thanksgiving
Ye, I know it's Thanksgiving day, but for me it's like 'so what'...just a day off to me, that being said, I may go exercise in the park.
I'm not having not T day meal, no turkey, nothing of the sorts, but, but, really could use some exercise today, cause inside the home exercise just doesn't cut it.
Inside exercise is just not the same out being outside type of exercise, so may head to park and do a few laps, burn some calories, and just enjoy the out doors.

Also, it's amazing how stubbornly extra 'fat' can stick to parts of your body, like the face, the butt, and of course the gut.
I guess those are the favorite places the body likes to store fat.

Time to work out I have to put 'working out' on to do list, or I simply won't. Right now working out is the last thing I feel like doing, a drank yesterday evening, I feel heavy, sluggish, both mentally and physically. I have treadmill in place, but just doing half a mile on that thing is depressing as all hell, looking at the walls, there's no mental escape when using a treadmill at home, I mean even at a gym, you'd have others to 'show out' in front of, but at home, nothing, just the sound of the treadmill engine. When walking outside though, at a park, there's distractions to keep you off the fact that your exercising, and it's just more fun. But it takes mental effort to get dressed, face and all, and then drive to the park, effort and time, but health is everything, so if don't, what's the alternative? And just looked in mirror and finally seeing physical results from not drinking so much, that's what made me say 'hmm, OK, maybe a few laps around the field won't be so bad'. Results in the mirror is what I needed to see and today I saw some. Cause if I don't go exercise, I'm just going to sit here on this bed in front of computer for rest of evening and night, so let me get up out of here for a quick minute and go exercise.

Continued from above
Well I did it, went and worked out, straight to park, straight back, I could of used some milk, other groceries, but I don't like shopping after working out cause feel I look sloppy.
I just don't like public shopping anymore, don't like the glancing blows 'I' get, as if in store and up to no good, as I age I just try to avoid stressful situations, I get tired of teaching lessons to people about not judging, cause for everyone you correct there's 100,000 more waiting, and it can wear you down mentally always being confrontational or responding to bigotry ect, so I just prefere to avoid people now when I can, of all colors and stripes.
That aside, I worked out, but soon as I got home felt like I didn't.
Oh well.

Just got done working out in the park on this cool, slightly windy, Jan 3rd of 2022. I had to, I really did; I could of either layed around and wallowed in my post day drinking, or I could get up and run it off and stay fit. I chose the latter. I'm lucky to still be here, so many who are younger than me are gone, sick, sickly, fat, whatever, it's not easy to reach my age and still be healthy.

I'm my own expertI think coffee may be more or equally as damaging to my body as is alcohol. I had a hunch, but after researching, I think my hunch is correct, here's what I mean. In some people caffeine causes inflammation, and inflammation, from what I read, can lead to joint pain, nerve pain and, and, infections! Infections as in internal ones in your muscles and all, bacteria that may have been under control by your immune system until inflammation, and I think that's the source of my 'pain'; in that I often drink coffee and drink beer close together, I realize now that's a big no no. www.healthline.com/nutrition/coffee-inflammation I come to this conclusion cause I notice I haven't had a beer since last Tuesday, yet inflamation pain internally, still there at times, and also realize It gets worse or comes back only and if I drink coffee!....bingo! I think I just nailed it, so maybe I'm not dying after all, but rather either I'm putting to much coffee enhancer in coffee, or, or, nothing else. Not saying alcohol is good either, but am saying I believe I just nailed the source of the pain I get sometimes in arms, chest area, not heart, but the muscles in chest area and now I realize it's do to inflammation that is caused by high caffeine intake. No Doctor needed, no 'expert' needed, I'm my own expert, I'm my own medical expert in that all you really have to do is pay attention to your body, what you eat and how you feel afterwards. -------------------------------------------- Now if I were like most I would of wasted 100's of dollars going to the doctor just for them to tell me what I just figured out on my own. Amazing.

I'll never take my health for granted again.
And I'll be much careful, going forward, what I eat.
Cutting out all man made snacks for a while, to include chips and store bought sugar drinks, all that stuff is bad for me right now and body responds to it negatively.
I've been slightly ill with something, and it's very distracting. Almost thought I was going to pass away the other night.
And I'm not the go to the doctor type just to blow through savings, that would make me even more depressed.
But may go to a walk in clinic when off again if not feeling better. I think it's just an infection cause by inflammation due to caffeine and alcohol and just being stupid and not realizing I'm getting older now and have to be careful what I put into body.
When 19 could swallow nuclear waste and be OK, but as get older have to be much more careful about ingrediants in food and or drinking (which I have stopped), and or even caffeine.
We shall see.
No fun being in pain, and it's very distracting.
Tomorrow will try just eating all natural foods, no chips, nothing with man made ingredients in it.
